Nicole explains how she met Jochen, “We met online in 2009, and got together on 4/4/2009. For the first 3 years, we had a long distance relationship. I worked in Munich, but then moved to Jochen’s hometown. In 2018, we bought his parents’ house. We loved to live there together.

On 4/4/2019, after 10 years of relationship, we got engaged. We always knew that we didn’t want a typical wedding in Germany. We love the sun, the beach, and the sea. We had already seen many beautiful countries together, so we decided to elope in Mexico”.

 

When they started planning for their destination wedding elopement, they wanted something special, so they found wedding photographers who had experience with elopement ceremonies, and they contracted Alba from heirateninmexiko. With just one officiant before them, they had their wedding ceremony on the beach complete with emotional vows, cake, and blue spirits that matched the beautiful blue sky.
