Annette and David’s Dreams Tulum wedding took place in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, with getting ready, dinner and reception at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa and their wedding ceremony at Xcaret Park. HOW ANNETTE AND DAVID MET

Annette and David’s love story began while they were volunteering at their local swimming pool. They both enjoyed helping their community and met while working on improvements to the property. David was painting a door while Annette was pulling weeds, unaware that this ordinary day would become the beginning of their life together.

They continued getting to know each other and dated for several years. Their relationship grew stronger as they shared their first home and eventually became engaged. Their love of outdoor activities and fitness also became an important part of their life together, inspiring them to begin training for their first half Ironman.

GETTING READY AT DREAMS TULUM

Annette and David began their wedding day at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa, a beachfront resort near Tulum in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The tropical surroundings provided a relaxed setting for their preparations and the first photographs of the celebration.

We documented the anticipation, personal details and candid interactions before the couple travelled with their guests to Xcaret Park for the ceremony.

DREAMS TULUM WEDDING CEREMONY AT XCARET PARK

Annette and David held their wedding ceremony at Xcaret Park, one of the Riviera Maya’s most distinctive locations. Its dramatic architecture and rich blue evening lighting created a memorable atmosphere as they exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends.

Combining Dreams Tulum with Xcaret Park gave the wedding two different visual settings: the tropical character of the beachfront resort and the distinctive surroundings of the ceremony venue. This variety allowed their photographs to tell the complete story of the day while preserving the atmosphere of each location.

DINNER AND WEDDING RECEPTION AT DREAMS TULUM

After the ceremony at Xcaret Park, the newlyweds and their guests returned to Dreams Tulum for dinner and the wedding reception. The evening continued with emotional speeches, laughter and dancing as everyone celebrated together.
