Esha and Prashant celebrated their Indian wedding at Banyan Tree Mayakoba in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. This gallery follows the couple and their guests through a multiday celebration at the resort, from the colorful pre-wedding events to the ceremony and the moments they shared with family and friends.

The photographs bring together the details and the unscripted moments: Esha and Prashant together, guests arriving and celebrating, and the energy of the Mehndi and Sangeet. Banyan Tree Mayakoba’s tropical setting gives each part of the story a distinct backdrop. The celebration was planned by Xanath Bañuelos.

For us, documenting an Indian wedding means paying attention to the people and the transitions between events as well as the ceremonies themselves. Browse Esha and Prashant’s photographs below to see how the celebration unfolded at Banyan Tree Mayakoba.
