Crystal + Carlos
Crystal and Carlos were Crystal’s best friend’s wedding in Greece, and the love was in the air. Not only for the bride, but that’s the opportunity that Carlos took to ask Crystal to be his bride.
It didn’t take long for the couple to begin to plan their very own special celebration. They were eager to tie the knot and they selected Mahekal Beach Resort in the Riviera Maya for their wedding day. They originally planned to marry in 2020, but as we all know, the universe had different plans and the wedding had to be postponed. Crystal and Carlos didn’t let that put a damper on their plans, and they continued planning for their special day in the future.
We fell in love with the couple, and after two years, their wedding day finally arrived. They had stressed in our communication how important it was for them to have amazing destination wedding pictures, and explained why they had chosen Cossu Photography as their wedding photographers in the Riviera Maya.
We not only covered their wedding day, but they also invited us to begin the story with their rehearsal dinner the day prior.
When their wedding day finally came, they were hit with another surprise: rain! The couple kept a positive outlook and said that nothing would stop their Mexico destination wedding. Mother Nature worked in their favor because just before the ceremony began, the rain stopped, the sun came out and the droplets of rain on their florals accentuated the beauty of the Riviera Maya. This made the Riviera Maya photographers beam with excitement!
When it came time for the reception, everyone was counting the moments for the party to start. When the dinner was over and the cake was cut, the dance floor caught fire! The day that had been planned for so long, finally came to fruition and the couple and their guests couldn’t have been happier. And the destination wedding photographers felt such a joy for the couple to see everything come to be.
