We met before the pandemic on Tinder and shortly after we had our first dates. About a month, later we were able to make a big trip together through Thailand.

We noticed right away that we have a lot of common interests like culture, concerts, comedy, etc. We really got to know and love each other during the pandemic. We moved in together, and spent a lot of time with one another.

The idea to get married came when we were on vacation in Turkey, and began to fantisize about getting married. Many friends had problems with their weddings, so we decided to get married secretly in Mexico, according to our wishes.

The biggest obstacle was probably to keep everything secret from friends and the fear of making parents a little sad because they could not be there. There were some jokes about a potential wedding in Mexico after some colleagues saw pictures from our vacation in Turkey. Our friends and family began to notice that André lost some weight with a diet and started to question whether there would be a wedding. However, we cleverly dismissed that. Closer friends of Ebony suspected that there would be, at least, a marriage proposal in Mexico”.

They found a great wedding planner, named Alba, and wanted amazing wedding photographers, so they went with Alba’s recommendation for Cossu Photography. The elopement was gorgeous, with a wooden arch covered in flowers was placed on the beach and as André saw Ebony walk towards him barefoot in the sand, he was brought to tears. The couple had their sacred ceremony just as they wished, and were united as one for the rest of eternity. After cutting the cake by the ocean, they played together on the beach and spent special moments as their Riviera Maya wedding photographer captured their magic.
