Ryan was born in Skokie, Illinois, USA, and Madhura was born in Jalna, India. Their paths crossed in Pune, India, where Ryan moved to launch his healthcare startup. What began as a shared life abroad soon became a deep connection, and after three and a half years together, Ryan proposed in July 2021.

Their love story deserved more than one celebration. After an intimate wedding in India in November 2021, Ryan and Madhura chose to celebrate again with a destination Indian wedding in Lake Como, surrounded by family and friends from all over the world.
