A  Destination Wedding in Rome

Some weddings are more than a single day.For Xavi and Lalo, getting married in Rome was about more than the ceremony. They wanted to create an unforgettable experience with the people they love most.

Our story together began months earlier during their pre wedding session in Florence, and meeting again in Rome felt like the perfect continuation of their journey.

Their guests stayed at Tenuta Pantano Borghese, a beautiful historic estate just outside the city, enjoying everything that makes Italy so unforgettable. A welcome dinner near the Pantheon, an aperitivo at Serre Barberini, an intimate ceremony in the estate’s private chapel, and a garden reception created an experience that was about much more than a wedding day.

Rome in May couldn’t have been more beautiful. Warm evenings, golden light and fields of red poppies surrounded a celebration filled with laughter, incredible food and unforgettable moments.

A Celebration Full of Personality

Every part of the wedding reflected who Xavi and Lalo are.

The reception was elegant, relaxed and full of surprises.

A spectacular Drag Queen performance had everyone on the dance floor, while a live tattoo artist gave guests the chance to leave with a permanent reminder of an unforgettable weekend.

We couldn’t resist either.

Today, we still carry a small tattoo that reminds us of those incredible days in Rome.

A Little Rain, A Perfect Ending

Just after dinner, a light spring shower appeared for only a few minutes.

Instead of changing the plans, it gave us the opportunity to create some of our favorite portraits of the entire weekend.

Moments later, the rain disappeared, the music continued and the celebration carried on beneath the Roman sky.
