Aisha and Vivek’s South Asian wedding in Punta Cana brought us back together with a family we had photographed before. We first met them at Anuksha and Sameer’s wedding in the Riviera Maya. Aisha is Anuksha’s sister and helped plan that celebration, so it was especially meaningful to document another chapter for the family.

At Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the setting, attire, music and décor gave the celebration its own character. The photographs below follow Aisha and Vivek, their family and guests through the wedding, with space for both the planned events and the spontaneous moments between them.
