A Vatican wedding in Rome is an extraordinary experience, but Xanath and Luigi’s celebration was even more meaningful. Their multi-day destination wedding brought family and friends from around the world to Italy for a journey filled with faith, culture and genuine emotion.
Documenting their celebration was a true honor. From the first welcome in Naples to the ceremony in Vatican City and the reception in the Roman countryside, every moment reflected their connection and the coming together of two families and cultures.
The celebrations began with a warm welcome in Naples before continuing in Rome. Guests had the opportunity to discover the beauty, history and energy of two of Italy’s most fascinating cities.
A Mexican-inspired welcome party introduced the joyful atmosphere of the days ahead. Filled with laughter, music and personal details, the event beautifully represented Xanath’s heritage while welcoming guests to Italy.
These opening celebrations gave everyone time to connect before the wedding day and created the feeling of a shared journey rather than a single event.
The heart of the celebration was Xanath and Luigi’s wedding ceremony in Vatican City. Surrounded by historic architecture and their closest loved ones, they exchanged vows in one of the most spiritually significant settings in the world.
The beauty of the Vatican created a timeless backdrop, but the most powerful photographs came from the emotions shared between the couple and their families. Quiet glances, embraces and moments of anticipation told the story of a union that crossed cultures and borders.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Tenuta Pantano Borghese, a historic estate surrounded by nature in the Roman countryside.
The elegant reception combined Italian hospitality with thoughtful details inspired by the couple’s story. Floral designs by Te Quiero Feliz and authentic Italian cuisine by Sciamannini Ricevimenti created a warm and refined atmosphere for the evening.
As the sun disappeared over the estate, dinner gave way to speeches, music and a joyful dance floor. Every part of the reception felt personal, relaxed and full of life.
The following day, Xanath and Luigi returned to the Vatican to receive a special papal blessing.
This profound moment brought their wedding journey to a meaningful conclusion. After days of celebration, the blessing offered a quiet and spiritual experience that will always remain part of their story.
Documenting this wedding allowed us to capture much more than the beauty of Rome. Each photograph reflects the emotions, cultural connections and personal moments that made the celebration unique.
From the ceremony at the Vatican to the reception at Tenuta Pantano Borghese, the story unfolded naturally through honest moments and timeless imagery.
